I'm a 22 year old SAHM, and I have two daughters ages 4 and 1. My husband, also 22, is currently in the Air Force, but is switching to the Army in January, and we're stationed in Tucson, AZ. I am also working towards a degree in Accounting through the University of Phoenix Online.

The husband and I aren't in any serious debt. Although, we recently purchased a new crossover for $30K, we plan to pay it off within the next year with the husband's bonus money from the Army.

I chose to keep this blog to help me keep track of my finances, keep away from debt, and to remind me of my goals/dreams.

2009 Goals

**Financial**
[ ] Save $1,000 for Rainy Day Fund
[ ] Save $10,000 by the end of the year for Down Payment on house.
[ ] Payoff at least $15,000 on the Car Loan by the end of the year w/Army bonus money. (Depending on how much we get from bonus)
[ ] Open a Savings account for both munchkins, and save $600 for each account by the end of the year.
[ ] Raise credit score to the 700s.

**Business**
[ ] Have at least 3 people on my downline by June.
[ ] Have at least 3 MORE people on my downline by December.

**Personal**
[ ] Get back to 120 pounds by June, and stay at 120.
[ ] Receive nothing lower than a "B+" in classes.

Goals for 2009 updates

My husband lost his debit card, and to make things worst, there were charges made to our account. I'm not sure how much these charges are at the moment because they were used as credit. After noticing these charges, I immediately called the bank to cancel the card, and disputed the charges. The bank said that it'll take awhile because they have to investigate and determine if they were fraudulent.... So, we'll see what happens. It just irritates me that people actually do things like this.

awww you poor thing. best wishes. i hope they catch the scammer! and that you get the money refunded.

We actually had someone copy our checks so they were counterfit checks and then my signature forged. We did get reimbursed from the bank, but it took a few weeks, it was for over $1800.00! It is the pits!

Ugh, I'm sorry. I hate people sometimes. When my sis lived in Texas, the property manager where she lived stole her info and opened a bunch of CCs in her name. Took years to get it straightened out.
